Additionally, we will schedule group volunteer events through various organizations. In the link above, you will find additional service opportunities that you as an NHS member can pursue yourself.

Members: You will find the NHS Service Tracker shared in the email from Nov. 2. Please bookmark this google sheets and comment any service hours you aquire, so we can make sure everyone meets the requirements. For each service activity you complete, please send an email to lagunabeachnhs@gmail.com so we can verify your hours. Email us with any questions. Thank you!

Children and community oriented philanthropy

Some philanthropies include: volunteering at local thrift store, cooking meals at the Friendship Shelter, making welcome packs for local Youth Center... and monthly Zoom meetings
You can join Assisteens by contacting them and asking for a membership packet (annual $40 fee)

GUEST CHEF PROGRAM
Prepare meals for 30 people at home/ off-site. Drop the meals off at the Bridge Housing Program at 1335 S Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Disposable tins recommended.
SACK LUNCH PROGRAM
You can provide anywhere between 10-30 sack lunches (30 being the preference). A typical lunch includes some variation of: a sandwich, fruit/veggies, crackers/chips/sweet treat, and a bottle of water. Once you’ve signed up for a specific day, come by the day before or by 11 am the day of to the Emergency Shelter at 20652 Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
